Session Description

Critical Illness Insurance (CII) is necessary not because you die, but because you survive. Over the last century, the major causes of death shifted from infectious diseases to "lifestyle" conditions like heart attack, cancer, stroke and by-pass operations. In their lifetime, 80 percent of people will suffer from one of these big four critical illnesses. This presentation, given by 32-year MDRT member Godfrey Phillips, is a tribute to the late Dr. Marius Barnard, who created the CII product in 1983. Phillips will explain why it is imperative to discuss CII in your meetings with your clients. You will learn the language of critical illness insurance, what questions to ask prospects and how CII can provide your clients with “money freedom” and “time freedom.”
