Door-to-Door Van Services
Nearly a dozen door-to-door van services operate from all terminals at SFO. Fares average USD 15 – 20 per person.

Taxi
Taxi service is available from SFO to downtown. Approximate fare to a downtown destination is USD 40 – 50. Voluntary ride-sharing for two or more persons with a maximum of three destinations is permitted.

Car Rentals
Auto rental counters are located in the centralized SFO Airport Car Rental Center. To access the Rental Car Center from the airport terminals, take the AirTrain Blue Line.

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART)
BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is a fast, convenient and inexpensive way to get from SFO or Oakland International Airport (OAK) to meetings in San Francisco. BART to downtown San Francisco costs USD 8.10 (SFO) and USD 3.80 (plus USD 3 for AirBART) and takes just a half hour.

The 103-mile BART system links eight San Francisco stations with San Francisco International Airport to the south and 29 stations in the East Bay. Trains operate seven days a week from 4 a.m. to midnight weekdays, 6 a.m. to midnight Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to midnight on Sundays.
